The trust of the late real estate developer Ronald Gross sold his non-waterfront Palm Beach home for $15.5 million.
Records show Gross sold the house at 420 Brazilian Avenue to IMLI Leaf LLC, a Colorado entity registered to O2B Services in Chicago, which shares an address with the tax firm Apercen Partners. The true buyer is unknown.
Shelly Newman of the Corcoran Group had the listing. Douglas Elliman’s Senada Adžem represented the buyer.
Gross was a developer of both residential and commercial real estate, according to his January obituary.
Gross and his late wife Eleanor Gross bought the Brazilian Avenue home for $3.5 million in 2017, according to records. It was built in 1924 on 0.2 acres and spans 4,200 square feet, four bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom.
The house was listed for $16.8 million in May, according to Realtor.com.
Gross also bought a condo at 100 Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach for $4.5 million in July, according to property records. Newman has the listing for it, asking $5.3 million.
The deal closes as Palm Beach real estate’s season heats up. It comes on the heels of billionaire beauty heir William Lauder finding a buyer for the oceanfront lots he had listed for $177.8 million. Also this month, Marathon Asset Management CEO Bruce Richards bought a lot with plans for a 13,400-square-foot mansion near Mar-a-Lago for $19.5 million. And philanthropists Alfred and Gail Engelberg sold their lakefront home for $23.8 million.
