Kandji | Coral Gables 

Tech firm Kandji will open its East Coast headquarters in Coral Gables

Kandji, which provides automation-forward Apple device management software, leased 30,000 square feet at 2811 Ponce de Leon Boulevard at The Plaza Coral Gables, according to the tenant’s news release. It will open on March 5. 

The San Francisco-based firm is led by CEO Adam Pettit. 

Agave Holdings, the real estate arm of tequila brand Jose Cuervo’s Beckmann family, developed the 2.3 million-square-foot The Plaza Coral Gables on roughly 7 acres on the  southeast corner of Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Sevilla Avenue. The project consists of two office buildings, a 242-key hotel, 174 apartments and over 160,000 square feet of retail.

Venture X | Miami Lakes 

Co-working space provider Venture X will open an outpost in Miami Lakes

Venture X leased 15,100 square feet at 15450 New Barn Road, where it will open on Wednesday, according to a news release from the franchisees. Husband-and-wife Enrique and Sharon Lisker are the franchisees for the Miami Lakes outpost.

Miami Lakes-based Graham Companies owns the office building, property records show. 

Escapology, Oakberry, Petricor | CityPlace Doral 

CityPlace Doral landed three retail tenants. 

Escapology, a live escape room entertainment venue, leased 4,700 square feet, and has already opened eight escape rooms, according to a CityPlace Doral news release. Escape room themes include Batman, The Dark Knight Challenge, Scooby-Doo and Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. 

Oakberry, the Brazilian brand known for its açaí bowls and smoothies, will open in a 700-square-foot space in the coming days, according to the release. 

Petricor, a fashion retailer that only sells products from vegan materials, also opened its CityPlace store. 

PGIM, the Pérez family’s Related Group and other partners completed the master-planned CityPlace Doral in 2017 at 8300 Northwest 36th Street in Doral

The mixed-use development includes apartments and 250,000 square feet of retail. Related is no longer a joint venture partner in CityPlace Doral, a property representative previously said.
