Palm Beach County’s condo sales and dollar volume surged last week.
Brokers closed 89 condo sales totaling $61.3 million from Jan. 26 to Feb. 2. The previous week, brokers closed 64 condo sales totaling $25.8 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $688,181, higher than the $403,182 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $377 from $299, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.1 million to $14.9 million.
The townhouse at 1 Sloans Curve Drive in Palm Beach took the top spot with a $14.9 million closing. The sale closed at $2,807 per square foot after 35 days on market.
Spencer Schlager with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Fern Fodiman with Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer.
Unit 605 at Mizner Grand, at 400 Southeast 5th Avenue in Boca Raton, closed for the second highest amount, $4.4 million, or $1,062 per square foot after 60 days on market.
David Hall and Sonia Hall with Compass had the listing, and Todd David Lipsich with Luxury Partners Realty brought the buyer.
