Eighty Seven Park closing tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales dollar volume rose last week.

Brokers closed 85 condo sales totaling $93.9 million from Jan. 19 to Jan. 26. The previous week, brokers closed 106 condo sales totaling $61.9 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $1,105,012, higher than the $899,049 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $598 from $602, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $2.2 million to $29 million. 

Penthouse 1702 at Eighty Seven Park, at 8701 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, took the top spot with a $29 million closing. The sale closed at $4,545 per square foot after 100 days on the market. Records show the seller is a land trust and the buyer is an LLC named after the address, tied to David Burstyn, CEO of Miami-based Winston Capital Management. 

Dina Goldentayer with Douglas Elliman had the listing and also represented the buyer.

Unit 1409 at Continuum on South Beach, at 100 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $7.7 million, or $4,828 per square foot after 134 days on the market.

Roland Ortiz and Eddy Martinez, both with One Sotheby’s International Real Estate, had the listing. Raymond Jacomo with Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.
