Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume fell in the second week of December.
Brokers closed 117 condo sales totaling $36.6 million from Dec. 8 to Dec. 15. The previous week, brokers closed 154 condo sales totaling $58.4 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $312,735, lower than the $379,013 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $432 from $287, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $575,000 to $2.1 million.
Unit 801 at Riva, at 1180 North Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $2.1 million closing. The sale closed at $852 per square foot after 44 days on the market.
Jonathan Howard and Melanie Kimpton with Douglas Elliman had the listing.
Unit 302 at Aqualuna Las Olas, at 20 Isle of Venice Drive in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $1.9 million, or $724 per square foot after 228 days on the market.
Sherri Pfefer and Megan Pfefer with Coldwell Banker Realty represented both the buyer and seller.
