Miami-Dade County’s condo sales volume rose in the first week of December. The average price per square foot also jumped, rebounding from a dip late last month.
Brokers closed 94 condo sales totaling $79.6 million from Dec. 1 to Dec. 8. The previous week, brokers closed 83 condo sales totaling $54.1 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $846,364, higher than the $651,882 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $587 from $465, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $252,000 to $1.6 million.
Unit PH 5105 at Brickell Flatiron, at 1000 Brickell Plaza in Miami, took the top spot with a $1.6 million closing. The sale closed at $1,294 per square foot after 52 days on market.
Patricia Bastidas with Fortune Christie’s International Real Estate had the listing, and Peter Prudenzano of Compass brought the buyer.
Unit G204 at Villas of Miami Lakes, at 7480 Miami Lakes Drive in Miami Lakes, closed for the second highest amount at $350,000. The deal equated to $324 per square foot after 62 days on market.
Eduardo Arriaga of Miami New Realty had the listing, and Rogelio Lucas of Stratwell brought the buyer.
