Palm Beach County condo sales rose and dollar volume tumbled last week.
Brokers closed 80 condo sales totaling $27.8 million from Oct. 20th to Oct. 27th. The previous week, brokers closed 78 condo sales totaling $45.9 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $347,880, lower than the $553,339 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $256 from $328, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $500,000 to $6.5 million.
Unit 1104 at La Clara, at 200 Arkona Court in West Palm Beach, took the top spot with a $6.5 million closing. The sale closed at $2,101 per square foot after 58 days on the market. Michael Costell and Chris Deitz, both with Compass Florida, had the listing. Costello also represented the buyer.
Unit 1606 at the Amrit Ocean Resort, at 3100 North Ocean Drive in West Palm Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $1.5 million, or $938 per square foot. Kari Lydon with Compass Florida had the listing, and Ryan Kartheiser with Miami Condo Advisors represented the buyer. The sale closed after one day on the market.
