Broward County’s condo sales, dollar volume and price per square foot surged last week, with Four Seasons Residences Fort Lauderdale leading the way.

Brokers closed 126 condo sales totaling $43.3 million from Sept. 22nd to Sept. 29th. The previous week, brokers closed 73 condo sales totaling $20.2 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average price of $343,326, higher than the $276,614 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $275 from $261, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $700,000 to $3.7 million. 

Unit 1604 at Four Seasons Residences Fort Lauderdale, at 525 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, took the top spot with a nearly $3.7 million closing. The sale closed at $1,764 per square foot after 237 days on the market. Daniel and Enrique Teixeira, both with Douglas Elliman, had the listing. No buyer’s agent was given.

Unit 2504 at Jackson Tower Las Olas, at 100 South Birch Read in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $1.3 million, or $688 per square foot. Jolanta Johnson and Marzena Annis, both with Compass Florida, had the listing. Gina Concepcion with Guardian Real Estate represented the buyer. The sale closed after 59 days on the market.
