In the latest roundup of South Florida luxury residential deals, sales spanned Pinecrest to Wellington and ranged in price from $6.8 million to $11 million. 

Pinecrest

In Pinecrest, a Nashville-based entity sold a mansion for $6.8 million, a $1 million less than its purchase price last year.

Records show 7310 Pinecrest Villa LLC, managed by Kristin Lee Geisler, sold the house at 7310 Southwest 104 Street to Paticos Al Agua LLC, a Florida entity managed by Venicia Mestey. Mestey is a vice president with Seckendorf Hasson Reilly & Kobay CPAs, a New York-based CPA firm that specializes in entertainment clients. 

Michael Martinez with One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing, and Marina Sirbu of London Foster Realty brought the buyer. 

Geisler is a Nashville-based business manager and accountant for entertainment clients, according to LinkedIn. The entity she manages bought the Pinecrest mansion for $7.8 million last year, property records show. Completed last year on 0.7 acres, the 8,200-square-foot mansion has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a pool and a guest house, records and the listing show.

It hit the market asking $8.5 million in December, and sold after six price cuts, Realtor.com shows.

Delray Beach

In Delray Beach, private equity mogul Thaddeus J. Fortin bought a house for $6.8 million.

Records show Fortin and his wife, Mindy Fortin, bought the home at 944 Seagate Drive from Dr. Eric M. Hecht.

Kathleen Fontenot of Coldwell Banker Realty represented both the buyers and the seller in the deal.

Thaddeus Fortin is a director and senior advisor with CM Equity Advisors, a New York City-based private equity firm. He was previously the longtime CEO of chemical supply chain firm Haas Group International from 1981 until it was sold to Wesco Aircraft Holdings for $550 million in 2014, according to a press release. 

Hecht is an epidemiologist with the University of Miami, LinkedIn shows. He bought the Seagate Drive house for $4.2 million in 2020, according to property records. Built in 2018 on 0.4 acres, the house spans 4,600 square feet, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, one half-bathroom, and a pool, records and the listing show. 

Hecht listed the home for $7.5 million in May, Redfin shows. 

 

Wellington

In Wellington, aviation entrepreneur Randall Fiorenza sold an equestrian estate for $11 million.

Fiorenza sold the home and farm at 5141 Lasso Way to Heidi Humphries, according to property records. Fiorenza’s wife, Sandra Fiorenza of Douglas Elliman, and Ryan Beckett of Bitrealty had the listing, and Beckett brought the buyer. 

Humphries is founder CEO of Spectra Baby USA, one of the top breast pump makers in the U.S. She is also passionate about the equestrian sport of dressage, according to a profile in the Chronicle of the Horse. 

Fiorenza is the owner of Tiger Aircraft Trading and CEO of Pan Am Flight Academy. He bought the 22.5-acre Lasso Way estate for $10.3 million in 2022, property records show. Built in 2018, the compound includes a 3,500-square-foot house with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one half-bathroom, a renovated 24-stall barn and a range of equestrian facilities.
