FIFA expanded its South Florida office ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with plans to keep the space permanently as a base for the Americas.
The international soccer governing organization now has a total of 75,000 square feet on four floors at 396 Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables, after adding 15,000 square feet to its previously leased space, Bloomberg reported, citing anonymous sources.
The deal comes as Zurich-based FIFA ramps up preparations for the World Cup, which will be held in the summer of 2026 across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Miami is among the 16 host cities.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino will be moving to Miami where he will stay through the World Cup, according to Bloomberg. About 350 FIFA staff members work in Coral Gables.
Records show the 15-story Coral Gables office building is owned by Agave Holdings. The real estate firm is backed by the Beckmann family that owns and runs the Jose Cuervo spirits brand.
Jenni Kayne | Palm Beach
Lifestyle brand Jenni Kayne opened in Palm Beach, marking its second store in Florida after Naples.
Jenni Kayne, which offers clothing, accessories and home décor, leased 871 square feet at 340 Royal Poinciana Way, according to the tenant’s news release. The brand is headquartered in West Hollywood, California.
The Palm Beach store is at The Royal Poinciana Plaza shopping center, which spans 180,000 square feet. Boston-based WS Development owns the leasehold of the plaza. The property is owned by a trust led by Sidney Spiegel, according to records.
Teyo | Wynwood
A newly launched, Miami-based furniture and materials brand will open a showroom in Wynwood.
Teyo, founded by Matthew Auerbach and architect Artur Sharf, leased 6,600 square feet at 25 Northwest 34th Street in Miami, according to the tenant’s news release. The space, which will open this fall, will include a sales office, design studio and lounge.
Teyo will offer its clients sourcing, custom design, installation and construction services, using rare natural stone, marble, onyx, travertine and limestone furniture and fittings, the release says.
Sharf is co-founder of the YoDezeen studio, which also leased space at the Wynwood building last year.
Records show the one-story building is owned by an entity managed by Oren Alexander.
Oren Alexander and his brothers, Tal and Alon Alexander, face allegations in civil lawsuits that they raped women over more than a decade. In July, the FBI opened an investigation and has been speaking with women who allege they were assaulted by the brothers or witnessed the attacks. Oren and Tal Alexander were former top real estate brokers at Douglas Elliman and then co-founded Official.
The Alexanders have denied the allegations.
