Broward condo sales rise in October to $277M

Auberge Residences unit in Fort Lauderdale took the top spot at $6.7M

Broward County condo sales and dollar volume rose in October, after tumbling in September. 

Brokers closed 851 condo sales in Broward in October, totaling $277 million, up from 820 condo sales totaling $287 million in September, MLS data from Redfin show.

October sale prices ranged from $67,000 to $6.7 million, with a median price of $240,000. The price per square foot ranged from $92 to $1,958, with a median of $237 — $8 lower than September’s median price per square foot.

In September, sale prices ranged from $63,000 to $3.7 million, with a median price of $235,000. The price per square foot ranged from $68 to $1,327.

Auberge Beach Residences led the pack in October with a $6.7 million sale. Unit N1501 at 2200 North Ocean Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale traded for $1,958 per square foot after 238 days on the market. Adam Elmer and Marie Mangouta with Fortune Christie’s International Realty had the listing. Melanie and David Schrand with One Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

In September, a unit at Trump Hollywood topped the charts at $3.7 million.

By contrast, a unit at Holiday Springs in Margate was October’s cheapest sale at $67,000. Unit 104 at 3160 Holiday Springs Boulevard closed at $92 per square foot after 38 days on the market. Barbara Lasky with Berkshire Hathaway Florida Realty had the listing, and Orlando Merced with Real Power Brokers represented the buyer.
