Sportswear brand On, which is partly owned by former professional tennis player Roger Federer, opened in the Miami Design District.
Swiss brand On took 3,200 square feet at 125 Northeast 40th Street, according to the tenant’s news release. The outpost marks On’s fifth in North America.
On was founded in 2010 after Ironman triathlete Olivier Bernhard, who had been experimenting ways to create running shoes, partnered with his friends, David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti, according to the company’s website. Federer partnered with On in 2019 and also invested in the firm, which carries his The Roger Collection brand for tennis and lifestyle footwear, according to media reports.
The Design District building is owned by Miami Lakes-based Gator Investments, records show. The real estate investment firm is led by James Goldsmith.
Audemars Piguet’s AP House | Miami Beach
Swiss watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet will open one of its exclusive lounge-like AP House spaces in Miami Beach.
Audemars Piguet leased 12,000 square feet on the top floor at the five-story Eighteen Sunset project that’s under construction at 1759 Purdy Avenue in the Sunset Harbour neighborhood, according to the developer’s news release.
While Audemars Piguet has boutiques all over the world, its AP House is more of a lounge space where guests can mingle and browse. An AP House that opened in Los Angeles this year includes a full bar, dining area, watchmaking studio and terrace, Robb Report reported in September.
The Sunset Harbour lease marks the third AP House in the U.S. Aside from L.A., AP House also has an outpost in New York, according to the release. AP House also has outposts worldwide, including in Bangkok, Barcelona, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Shanghai, St. Barts, Tel Aviv, Tokyo and Zurich.
Deco Capital Group, led by Bradley Colmer, is developing Eighteen Sunset in partnership with RWN Real Estate Partners, part of billionaire Marc Rowan’s family office. The building is nearly fully leased. Other tenants will include investment management firm Pretium and restaurant Uchiko.
Stephen Rutchik of Colliers and Neil King of CBRE represented the landlords. Jonathan Schley of CBRE and Lyle Stern of Vertical Real Estate represented the tenant.
Eighteen Sunset is expected to be completed late this year.
My Salon Suite, KidStrong, more | Doral
Century Town Center mixed-use complex in Doral scored three new tenants.
My Salon Suite took 5,900 square feet, children’s fitness training and confidence-building provider KidStrong took 2,700 square feet, and Rumble Boxing took 2,500 square feet at 8175 Northwest 107 Avenue, according to a news release from the landlords’ broker.
Rafael Romero and Malina Huynh of JLL represented the owners.
Century Homebuilders, led by Sergio Pino; Mattoni Group, led by Ricardo Caporal; and Double C, an arm of Colombian construction giant Conconcreto, are developing Century Town Center. The completed first phase consists of 326 apartments and 31,000 square feet of retail, and the second phase will consist of 408 residential units and 27,000 square feet of retail, according to the release.
The 8-acre project is part of the larger mixed-use Midtown Doral development.
luggage2u, Miniso | Coral Square | Coral Springs
Simon Property Group’s Coral Square mall scored seven new tenants.
Miniso, which offers household goods, electronics and cosmetics inspired by Japanese designs, as well as luggage2u and children’s hair salon Pelokitos opened at the mall at 9469 West Atlantic Boulevard in Coral Springs, according to a Coral Square news release.
Victoria’s Secret will open next month, and women’s clothing boutique Flores Pure Wonder will open in December. JC Salon Suites, which offers salon suites for rent, and The Knife Parrilla Argentina restaurant will open next year, according to the release.
