In the latest South Florida resi roundup, newly constructed and renovated waterfront homes sold across the tri-county area.

Spec developer Jeffrey H. Norman sold a newly built waterfront home in Boca Raton for $14.4 million. Records show Norman’s 1099 North Land Holdings LLC sold the house at 1099 Spanish River Road to a trust named for the address, with attorney Michael Strauss signing on behalf of the buyer.

Joseph Liguori of Premier Estate Properties represented both the buyer and seller in the deal.

Norman heads JH Norman Construction in Boca Raton, the company’s website shows. His firm bought the 0.4-acre Spanish River Road property for $3 million in 2019, according to property records. Finished this year, the house spans 7,600 square feet, with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the listing shows. The property includes a pool and a dock.

Norman listed it for $16 million in May, Redfin shows.

In Miami Beach, another waterfront spec home sold for $13 million. A source confirmed MTV star Sam Logan bought the house at 1485 Cleveland Road from an LLC named for the address and managed by attorney Jason Perlman.

Pier Visconti and Claudia Llanes of Douglas Elliman and Melisa Azran Attias of Beachfront Realty had the listing. Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp LLC brought the buyer.

Logan stars in MTV’s “Siesta Key” reality series. His father, Samuel Logan, Sr. is the owner of Logan Construction Group. His mother, Elizabeth Logan, is an heir of Ellen Browning Scripps, the journalist and media mogul who co-founded the E.W. Scripps Company and endowed  Scripps College in Claremont, California. Elizabeth Logan inherited part ownership in Scripps Networks Interactive, which was purchased by Discovery in 2018, according to published reports.
