March condo sales soar in Palm Beach County to $461M  

$10.7M closing at SeaGlass on Jupiter Island took top spot

Palm Beach County condo sales soared in the third month of the year.

Brokers closed 942 condo sales totaling $461 million in March, compared with 581 totaling $255 million in February, MLS data from Redfin show. Sale prices ranged from $55,000 to $10.7 million, with a median price of $265,000. The price per square foot ranged from $60 to $3,122, with a median of $232.

In February, prices ranged from $60,000 to $7.4 million, with a median price of $250,000. The price per square foot ranged from $43 to $3,645, with a median of $229.

SeaGlass Unit 601 at 1500 Beach Road on Jupiter Island in Tequesta took the top slot in March at $10.7 million. That’s $4.5 million more than its previous sale four months prior. The deal breaks down to $2,964 per square foot. It sold after 90 days on the market.

Craig and Heather Bretzlaff with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Jennifer Lourie with Keller Williams represented the buyer, whose true identity is unknown. The seller is Janet L. Stern, the widow of William Stern, the late longtime president and CEO of Cleveland-based Stern Advertising.

A sale at Tiffany Lake was March’s cheapest. Unit 4 at 836 East Tiffany Drive in Mangonia Park sold for close to $55,000. The deal breaks down to $65 per square foot. The condo sold after 91 days on the market. Jayne Sanders with FCL Real Estate worked both sides of the deal.
