Miami-Dade County’s condo sales dollar volume, average price and number of closings all tumbled last week.
Brokers closed 141 sales last week, down from 151 the week prior. Total condo sales reached $100 million, versus $129 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $711,000, also down from $853,000. And the average price per square foot decreased to $511 from $547, according to data from condo.com.
Last week, an Estates at Acqualina condo in the north tower snagged the top spot for $9 million. Yansy Checa had the listing, and Adriana Vargas Hernandez represented the buyer for unit 1202 at 17975 Collins Avenue. Both agents are with Acqualina Realty. The condo spent four days on the market, and it closed at $2,041 per square foot, according to Checa.
The runner-up was a penthouse sale at One Paraiso in Miami. Unit PH203 at 3131 Northeast Seventh Avenue sold for $4 million — or $1,368 per square foot — after 31 days on the market. Liz Hogan with Compass had the listing, and Peter Ancona with Ancona Real Estate represented the buyer.
