An investment chief and his wife bought a waterfront spec home in Boca Raton from luxury developer Group P6 for $11.2 million.

Records show Stanley and Lisa Moss bought the house at 5053 Blue Heron Way from Sanctuary 5053 LLC, a Delaware entity with Group P6’s co-owner, Ignacio Diaz, as signatory.

Joseph Liguori, Gerard Liguori and Carmen D’Angelo Jr. of Premier Estate Properties had the listing, and Jennifer Kilpatrick of the Corcoran Group brought the buyers.

Stanley Moss is CEO of Polen Capital, an investment management firm based in Boca Raton. Records show that he and his wife, Lisa Moss, own at least two other properties in Palm Beach County, including a house they bought in 2012 for $1.4 million, and an oceanfront Highland Beach townhouse they bought in 2021 for $6.3 million

Group P6 is a Boca Raton-based luxury spec developer. In 2020, the firm launched sales of its 48-unit Royal Palm Residences, a condo project with three nine-story buildings in Boca Raton.

Records show Group P6 bought the 0.3-acre Blue Heron Way property for $2.7 million in 2019. The firm demolished the existing home and built a 7,100-square-foot, five-bedroom, nine-bathroom house that was completed last year. The home also includes two half-bathrooms, a pool, and 102 feet of waterfront.

The home sold for below its asking price. It was listed for $12.5 million in February of 2021, which was raised to $14.8 million in March of last year.

The home is in the guard-gated community called the Sanctuary. It has more than 90 homes, and is known for attracting high-profile residents, D’Angelo Jr. said.

The Sanctuary provides 24-hour security at the gate, on the streets, and in the waterways, he said. “You pull through in your Rolls-Royce, and no one follows you in,” he said.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman bought a waterfront mansion in the neighborhood for $8 million in 2021. In December, supplements mogul Darielle Singerman sold her waterfront mansion for $10.2 million, within days of her husband and business partner Aaron Singerman’s release from federal prison.

Luxury homes in private communities have been in high demand in Boca Raton, especially since the pandemic ignited a South Florida real estate boom.

Last month, luxury builders Steve and Scott Dingle set the Boca Raton price record, selling a waterfront spec mansion in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club for $28 million.
