Miami-Dade County’s condo sales dollar volume, average price and number of closings all climbed last week.
Brokers closed 151 sales last week, up from 144 the week prior. Total condo sales came to $129 million, versus $121 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $853,000, up from $837,000; and the average price per square foot increased to $547 from $544, according to data from condo.com.
Last week, a Fisher Island condo snagged the top spot for $21 million. Dora Puig with Luxe Living Realty had the listing for unit 7954 at 7954 Fisher Island Drive, and Julian Johnston with Corcoran represented the buyer. The deal closed after 346 days on the market at $3,078 per square foot.
The runner-up was a penthouse sale at Ocean Park South Beach. Unit PH2 at 312 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach sold for $6.5 million — or $2,695 per square foot — after 229 days on the market. Eloy Carmenate and Mick Duchon with Corcoran worked on both sides of the deal.
