The majority owner of a Minor League Baseball team sold his waterfront mansion in Jupiter’s Admirals Cove for $10 million. It’s next door to the home Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle just bought for $9.7 million.

Records show Bruce W. Quinn and his wife, Susan, sold the home at 492 Mariner Drive to Suzanne R. Weiss, as trustee of a trust in her name.

Bruce Quinn is the co-owner of the Hagerstown Suns, a former affiliate team of the Washington Nationals. Quinn is also the former CEO of the Polo Trace Golf and Country Club in Delray Beach. He sold the course to GL Homes in 2018 for $10 million.

Weiss is the widow of investment banker Stephen H. Weiss. He founded the investment management firm of Weiss, Peck & Greer, and was a former chairman of the Cornell University Board of Trustees.

Quinn purchased the home in 1999 for $3.5 million. It was built in 1994. Property records show Quinn made many alterations to the house, including multiple renovations to the interior, as well as constructing a pool and adding an addition to the home.

The 11,230-square-foot mansion on a nearly 1-acre lot was first listed in 2019 for $12 million. The most recent asking price was $11 million in August.

Rob Thomson with Waterfront Properties & Club Communities represented Quinn, while Janis Partlow of Premier Brokers International represented Weiss.

The mansion has seven bathrooms, eight full bathrooms and four half-bathrooms, a wine cellar and a theater. The property features almost 300 feet of water frontage and a dock with two boat lifts and room for a boat over 85 feet long, according to the listing.

Earlier this year, Trump, Jr. and Guilfoyle were under contract to buy the home. After residents of the Jupiter neighborhood voiced concerns, the two decided against it. The couple settled on the house next door.
