A trust linked to billionaire Charles Johnson paid $21.8 million for a waterfront Palm Beach home built by Dr. Oz’s father-in-law.

Records show Holly Ann Bartlett, a trustee of the 1220 South Ocean Boulevard Trust, purchased the house at 624 Island Drive on Everglades Island from Five Girls Rule LLC.

Bartlett is the daughter of Johnson, the largest shareholder and former CEO of San Mateo, California-based investment management firm Franklin Resources. He is also a principal owner of the San Francisco Giants.

Bartlett was also a trustee in a 2013 purchase of 1220 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach for $42 million.

Property records show Johnson and his wife, Ann, own a home at 703 Island Drive, also on Everglades Island in Palm Beach, which they acquired in 2007.

In the latest purchase, the selling entity is led by Dr. Gerald M. Lemole Sr., the father-in-law of television host Dr. Oz. Lemole purchased the property for $8.4 million in 2018. Records show Lemole began building the existing home in 2018, and completed it this year.

The 7,154-square-foot house was listed in December for $23.9 million. Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate represented the seller, and Kyle Kahriman of Brown Harris Stevens represented the buyer.

The house has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two half-bathrooms on nearly half an acre, according to the listing.

Recently in Palm Beach, Rick and Marie Wackenhut sold their historic estate for $17.9 million, and a mansion across the street from the Mar-a-Lago listed for $49 million.
