Miami Dolphin legend Kim Bokamper is listing his Plantation home – but he’s not going too far away.

Bokamper, who played for the Dolphins from 1976 to 1985, is looking to sell the 3,720-square-foot house at 301 Northwest 127th Avenue for $1.15 million. The retired linebacker and defensive end told Mansion Global that he plans to buy a new golf club home farther east, in Fort Lauderdale.

Bokamper got into broadcasting after retiring from the NFL in the 1980s.

Records show Bokamper has owned the Plantation house since he paid $418,500 for the property in 1988. The canalfront home features hardwood floors, a brick fireplace, new kitchen, new lighting, plantation shutters and crown molding.

The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and an attached garage. It sits on over a half-acre lot.

Dondi Hopkins of The Hopkins Team at Compass has the listing.

The house is within the Lago Mar Country Club, a gated community. In September, the South Florida Business Journal reported that the Seminole Tribe of Florida and its Hard Rock International company were in talks to buy Lago Mar golf course.

Bokamper also owns Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill, a chain of five restaurants in South Florida.
