After making a fortune selling hot dogs and gas with his popular Sheetz convenience stores, Robert Sheetz is now flipping luxury homes in Boca Raton.

Sheetz sold a waterfront estate at 133 West Coconut Palm Road in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club for $11.45 million to the Trust of 133 West Coconut Trust, records show. William Mark Lanier, Becky Lanier and Kevin Dale Roberts are the trustees.

The home was built in 2018 and features 158 feet of water frontage. It has six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.

The home spans 8,439 square feet, which equates to a sale price of $1,356 per square foot, records show.

Sheetz purchased the property in October 2016 for $3 million to build the home.

David W. Roberts with Royal Palm Properties represented the seller in the deal, while Eric Levy of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty represented the buyer.

In June, Sheetz sold another waterfront, 9,333-square-foot estate in the same community at 1160 Royal Palm Way for $12.6 million.

Sheetz founded Sheetz Inc. – a competitor to Wawa – in Altoona, Pennsylvania, when he was 18 years old. The company now has more than 430 convenience stores throughout six states: Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.

Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club has some of the priciest homes in Boca Raton. The high-end community features a country club along the Intracoastal Waterway and Capone Island, as well as a yacht club, pool, sports court, entertainment patio and marina, fitness center and tennis courts.

In September, Michael and Michelle Hagerty, whose family owned White Rock Distilleries, bought a waterfront estate in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club from restaurateur Gary Rack and his wife Videl for $6.2 million.

Also in September, a group of executives tied to a West Palm Beach transportation company bought a 9,203-square-foot house at 300 East Key Palm Road for $12.1 million.
