A penthouse at the Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club sold for $20.75 million, marking one of the biggest sales at the luxury condo-hotel.
Property records show Keyla Holdings LLC bought the 5,675-square foot unit at 9001 Collins Avenue for $3,656 per square foot. The developer, Fort Partners, sold unit penthouse 2 in the south tower. Keyla Holdings is managed by Josh Bennett, a Fort Lauderdale attorney, who specializes in asset preservation. The true buyer of the condo is unknown.
Fort Partners completed the project in 2017. It includes 150 condo units, a 72-room hotel, a Le Sirenuse restaurant and a Thomas Keller restaurant.
There are a number of high profile buyers at the luxury development. Developer Richard LeFrak recently paid $9.7 million for penthouse 4B in the south tower, and other buyers include Alan Greenberg, the former publisher of Esquire; Charles Jenkins Jr., the former CEO of Publix, billionaire real estate and casino tycoon Neil Bluhm, and New York real estate developer Richard Ruben.
The most recent sale is still less than Groupon founder Eric Lefkofsky’s $30.7 million purchase of penthouse 7 in the south tower last year.
The hotel and condo project was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier, who was accused of sexual harassment last year, and Kobi Karp.
