New York real estate investor Irving Langer paid $14.1 million for a penthouse at Muse Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, adding to his holdings in South Florida.
Property records show Langer’s Amuse Me Holdings LLC closed on upper penthouse 1 at the 68-unit, 49-story tower at 17100 Collins Avenue. Property Markets Group and S2 Development completed the building earlier this year. About 33 closings have been recorded in property records.
Langer is founder and CEO of Brooklyn-based E&M Associates, an investment and management firm. About two years ago, he and his wife Miriam paid $21 million for a penthouse at Fendi Château Residences in Surfside. They also own a unit at Vendome Place at 4301 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, which they purchased in 1989.
Langer financed his latest deal at Muse with a $10.5 million mortgage from Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union.
Other buyers at Muse include George Pagoumian’s green venture capital firm PMA Venture Capital Group.
Muse features a gym on the third floor, sauna, children’s play room, a residents lounge, outdoor pool cafe and pet services. Dr. Deepak Chopra, a New Age and alternative medicine advocate, designed the finishes for some of the units at the Sunny Isles tower.
