One Thousand Museum, downtown Miami
The Zaha Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum is bringing back the heliport. The helicopter-friendly condo building will be the only residential tower on the East Coast to have a heliport, according to the developers.
The development team, led by Gregg Covin, Gilberto Bomeny, Louis Birdman and Kevin Venger, topped out the 62-story tower earlier this year. Prices at the 83-unit tower range from $5.5 million to more than $20 million. The project marks Hadid’s first residential tower in the Western Hemisphere. She died in March 2016.
Canvas, Miami’s A&E District
NR Investments’ Canvas building in Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District will have an amenity deck with an enclosed dog run, racquetball court and more, new renderings show.
Canvas, set to open this summer, will also feature an outdoor yoga garden, fitness center, movie screening room, three outdoor polls and murals curated by Miami artist Daniel “Krave” Fila. The 513-unit building is priced from $386,200 to $630,000. It’s 85 percent sold.
5000 North Ocean, Singer Island
Kolter Group released images of luxury condo units at 5000 North Ocean development in Singer Island. The developer is wrapping up construction of the sixth floor of the 19-story, 48-unit building at 5000 North Ocean Drive. Sales launched in 2016 with prices starting at just below $2 million.
Canarias at Downtown Doral, Doral
Armando Codina and Jim Carr’s CC Homes released new model homes of its Canarias at Downtown Doral single-family home and townhouse development.
Canarias, a group of 343 single-family homes and 52 townhomes, is about 20 percent sold, according to a spokesperson. Prices for the houses range from $590,000 to $1.5 million, and townhomes start at $630,000.
CC Homes secured $56 million in financing for the project from Florida Community Bank last year.
