More Miami condos may have been given as gifts this holiday season, as sales volume in the county jumped in the week leading up to Christmas.
Miami-Dade recorded 155 closings for a total of $60.5 million, up from the previous week’s $48 million sales volume. Condos sold for an average price of about $390,000, or nearly $280 per square foot.
The priciest deal was the $4 million sale of unit 1202 at Murano at Portofino. After more than a year on the market, the three-bedroom, 2,618-square-foot unit closed for about $1,530 per square foot. Clemente Sanchez represented the seller, and Joonok Yang represented the buyer.
The second priciest closing was at Marquis in downtown Miami. Unit 6101 traded hands for $2.67 million, or $716 per square foot, after nearly a year on the market. Yonathan Yehezkel was the listing agent, and Bento Queiroz brought the buyer.
Closing prices in the top 10 deals ranged from $950,000 to $4 million.
