Jenny from the block hit the Florida Keys recently, using an oceanfront Islamorada home for her new music video.

Jennifer Lopez filmed “Ni Tú Ni Yo” at the gated home at 88835 Old Highway. And it’s been around the block a few times: the property has been on and off the market for about a decade, now listed for $6.5 million, which is down from the $10 million it was asking in 2007.

The owner, the Grace Zim trust, scored $2,500 for a day of shooting on June 13, listing agent Kelly Shaw of American Caribbean Real Estate told The Real Deal. They’re heirs to the late Herbert Zim, author and former editor-in-chief of the Golden Guides series of nature books. Zim bought the land back in the 1940s, Shaw said.

Records show the property holds five homes. It sits on 6.8 acres of land with an additional 1.16 acres of bay bottom, which is the land between the lot line and the water’s edge. The property offers oceanfront views and a protected boat basin, according to the listing.

The music video features a brief cameo from J. Lo’s ex-husband Marc Anthony and Cuban reggaeton group Gente De Zona. While it’s J. Lo who steals most of the spotlight, the property gets some exposure too. The music video films shots from inside the ranch-style homes, as well as outside on the oceanfront.

Shaw said the music video will bring more exposure to the island in the summer, at a time when the Islamorada luxury market is “stronger among South Floridians.”

Waterfront homes in Islamorada are usually priced between $3 million and $5 million, brokers say. The longtime home of baseball star Ted Williams on Upper Matecumbe Key in Islamorada hit the market earlier this year for $4.2 million.
