Two months after paying $7 million for a condo at Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles Beach, the new owner is seeking to flip it for $10 million. That’s up 43 percent from its purchase price.
Records show PBM Properties of Gaithersburg, Maryland, linked to Jacqueline M. Perry, bought unit 3905 at 18555 Collins Avenue on Dec. 12, 2016.
The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath unit has 4,616 square feet and hit the market on Monday, according to Realtor.com. The price equates to $2,166 per square foot.
Daniel Piquet of Piquet Realty has the listing. He did not immediately return a message left at his office. The listing says the owner is “super motivate [sic]” to sell.
Dezer Development, led by Gil Dezer, completed Porsche Design Tower toward the end of last year. The 132-unit, 60-story building is known for its “Dezervator,” a patented car elevator that takes residents up to their units, in their cars. Amenities include balcony plunge pools, and racing and gold simulators.
Records have revealed other buyers at the tower, including Andrea Romanello Ferdinand — the daughter of an alleged mobster — and her husband Brian Ferdinand, who paid $5.2 million for unit 1505; Russian Chingiz Askerov, who owns commercial and residential real estate in Moscow like the Domodedova Shopping Mall and paid $5 million for unit 1605; Mexican billionaire Carlos Peralta Quintero, who paid $6.54 million for unit 1101; Colorado Rockies player Carlos “CarGo” Gonzalez, Brazilian media mogul Edir Macedo, known as “the Bishop” and Russian businessman Igor Yakovlev. The tower has an estimated $840 million sellout. At least 100 unit closings have been recorded in Miami-Dade County records so far.
