The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

While much of Miami-Dade County was gearing up for the holidays last week, a handful of wheelers and dealers were making sure their clients were going home with million-dollar condos as stocking stuffers. The county’s condo market posted a solid gain in sales volume last week, and three units broke the $2 million price barrier.

Topping out the week’s list of priciest deals was an oceanfront unit at the Bellini building in Bal Harbour, which fetched $3.75 million after sitting on the market for 180 days with Ian Vucetich of Miami Realty Brokers. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom condo boasts Wolf & Sub-Zero appliances, wood floors and a wraparound terrace. The deal broke down to $981 per square foot.

Following that deal was the $2.45 million sale of a three-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom condo at the Turnberry Ocean Colony in Sunny Isles Beach. Just like at the Bellini, this modern-style unit has ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Lianne Graubart of Compass had the listing, which took 147 days to close at $882 per square foot.

And in third place, a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom condo at the Carillon North Tower in Miami Beach. The townhouse style unit has two floors, a loft-style living room with 20-foot ceilings, beach views and carpet floors. It traded for $2.2 million, or $649 per foot, after spending 50 days on the market with Nir-David Perets of Charles Rutenberg realty.

After those top three deals, Miami-Dade’s 10 priciest sales ranged from $1.325 million to $776,450.

The county saw 113 condos sell last week for $40.5 million. That’s a boost in volume of roughly $3.2 million compared to the previous week, though two fewer units traded. Average prices were $358,467 per unit and $265 per square foot.
