An entity controlled by Argentinian media moguls (and husband and wife) Daniel Hadad and Viviana Zocco sold their double unit at the Continuum South Beach for $10.5 million, or nearly $2,400 per square foot.

Records show MyEstates 1 Corp., led by Gerardo D. Hadad and Zocco, sold units 1606/1607 at 100 South Pointe Drive to Coral Gables attorney Thomas G. Sherman, acting as trustee of the 1606 Sofi Land Trust.

The combined four-bedroom, 4,378-square-foot unit is in the 42-story Continuum South building, which was completed in 2002. Hadad and Zocco paid $6 million for the then-separate units in 2012, according to property records.

Their former condo includes a den, floor-to-ceiling windows and an 800-square-foot wraparound balcony. The kitchen has Italian cabinets, granite counters, Miele appliances and a SubZero refrigerator, according to the listing.

Linette Guerra of La Playa Properties Group Inc. represented the sellers in what was last week’s priciest condo sale in Miami-Dade County. Danny Hertzberg of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.

Hadad, a former journalist who gained notoriety co-hosting “Radio América” and later “Después de Hora,” owns a number of Argentinian media channels, programs and publications. They include C5N (Channel 5), Infobae, Radio 10, Pop Radio, Mega 98.3 and FM Vale 97.5.

Zocco, meanwhile, is the founder and CEO of TKM, a Spanish language entertainment and news platform. Her background is in finance, including a stint at S&P in Latin America, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Records show that before Hadad and Zocco, Chicago-based developer Krysztof Karbowski owned unit 1606.

The Continuum, at 50 and 100 South Pointe Drive, was developed by Ian Bruce Eichner’s Continuum Company in 2002 and 2008. Sieger Suarez Architects designed the two-tower condominium, which sits on a 12-acre property. Amenities include two lagoon pools, a spa and gym, and 1,000 feet of beach frontage.
