Updated Sept. 26, 12:30 p.m.: Miami police arrested a suspect in the theft of a statue of a naked Donald Trump from the roof of a building in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.

Police charged Pedro Rodriguez, 36, with grand theft and burglary.

A public information officer for the Miami police department told television station WTVJ that the statue had been returned to its owner.

Developer Moishe Mana told WSVN that the statue needs repairs because Rodriguez cut off the head.

The statue originally appeared in Miami atop a billboard promoting the III Points festival in Wynwood last week, courtesy of art collective INDECLINE, which has planted naked Trump sculptures in major U.S. cities.

INDECLINE exhibited the Trump statue in Miami at the behest of  Mana, who regularly criticizes Trump on his personal Facebook page.

Not long after its appearance atop the billboard, the statue was moved to a Mana-owned property because police said it would distract drivers on I-95. [WTVJ] [WSVN]Mike Seemuth
