L&B Realty Advisors just scored a major tenant at its Airport North Logistics Park in Miami, bringing the first building to open so far up to full occupancy.
The developer signed off on a 149,980-square-foot lease to Eco Window Systems, an impact window and door manufacturer that’s relocating from its current space at the Medley International Business Park.
Listing brokerage Cushman & Wakefield announced the lease. Agents Wayne Ramoski and Gian Rodriguez brokered the deal on behalf of L&B, while Eco Window Systems was represented by Americas Commercial Real Estate.
For Eco, the move doubles the space of its Miami-Dade County distribution center. And for L&B, the lease is a sign of healthy demand for industrial space at its industrial park, which has only delivered one building so far.
The 255,900-square-foot Building One was completed in 2013 and is the first of four to be delivered. Construction on buildings two and three, which together total 503,208 square feet, is already underway and expected to wrap up by mid-year 2017.
Last month, freight manager Neutralogistics signed a 105,920-square-foot lease at Building One. Some of the building’s features include 227 parking spaces, a 120-foot concrete truck court, 57 overheard doors and a 60-foot staging bay. — Sean Stewart-Muniz
