Talk about a touchdown of a sale.

Chad Scott, a former cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, just sold his flashy pad in South Beach’s Murano at Portofino complex for $4.9 million — more than double what he paid for it 14 years ago.

County records show Scott bought his three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in the South Beach complex for $2.095 million, or about $622 per square foot, in 2003.

Measuring 3,365 square feet, the unit features modern finishes, 270-degree views of downtown Miami and the bay, plus floor-to-ceiling balcony windows.

Scott transferred ownership of the unit to a trust in 2009, and was hit by a foreclosure suit from Bank of America in May 2015 over his $857,500 mortgage. A judge granted a dismissal of that suit in March, according to county records.

Scott, who ended his career as a free agent for the New England Patriots in 2007 after suffering a knee injury, has now sold his unit for $1,456 per square foot.

Dina Goldentayer and Sladja Stantic, the ONE Sotheby’s agents who recently sold out the four-unit 350 Meridian project in South Beach, represented the buyer of Scott’s condo. The sale has not yet cleared public records, so the buyer’s identity is unknown.

“The buyer had his eye on the Murano 01 line for quite some time and this deal couldn’t be passed up,” Goldentayer said in a statement to TRD, adding that the new owner will complete a gut renovation of the unit.
