Located in a 6,000-square-foot warehouse, the HES Group headquarters has been designed by Maria Cecilia Guedez of HES Consulting Group. The interior features aged, utilitarian design with distressed woods, worn textures, and welded metals throughout the space, the firm said. The exterior wall will have a mural by international graffiti artist Mr. Dheo, and an oversized hot pink snail from the Cracking Art Group will permanently sit on the roof of the building.

“There is no better place to inspire creativity than Wynwood Arts District in Miami,” Francisco Arocha, managing partner and CEO of HES Group said in a statement.

HES plans to inaugurate its headquarters at an event Monday night. On Tuesday, the group will unveil a 50-foot tall WISH Exhibit by artist Rob Buchholz at the site of its planned mixed-use project, Triptych Miami, at 3601 North Miami Avenue. The company will also present artist and curator Peter Tunney’s roving lit vehicle and work of art “Lady Bug,” featured in the Nick Jonas’ “Chains” video filmed in Wynwood.

Founded in 1998, HES Group’s first major project was the 2001 revival of the Intercontinental Tamanaco Caracas Hotel. In Miami the group has developed and operates such hotels as Aloft Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables and West Palm, Hotel Indigo Brickell. — Ina Cordle
