Lourdes Alatriste, a former partner at Engel & Völkers and the firm’s top producing agent, has just taken an executive position at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
Alatriste is the firm’s new executive director of international real estate. That entails courting international clients and her own circle of high-class buyers, which she grew over her six years at Engel & Völkers.
Her real estate career began as the owner of a title company, which she ran for 24 years before joining up as a luxury Realtor at Engel & Völkers. Her honors include being named No. 1 listing broker at the firm between 2009 and 2015, and raking in a total sales volume of $248 million during her time there.
The announcement of Alatriste’s hire comes hot on the heels of ONE Sotheby’s latest power play: the acquisition of South Beach International Realty, one of Miami Beach’s largest remaining independent brokerages.
ONE Sotheby’s has bolstered its ranks recently with a handful of new hires, including Amy Kane as the new director of sales in Miami Beach and Fernando de Nuñez y Lugones as executive vice president of the firm’s luxury condo development division.
The brokerage has also had its fair share of shake-ups, too. Eloy Carmenate, previously the executive vice president at One Sotheby’s, and Gus Rubio, the firm’s former COO, both left to Douglas Elliman earlier this year.
