Riva Fort Lauderdale, a 15-story condo tower that broke ground in June, has launched sales for its largest unit — a two-story residence facing the Middle River.

The unit occupies Riva’s entire second and third floors. It measures 8,788 square feet and has an asking price of $5.25 million, or $597 per square foot.

Dubbed the River Loft, the unit’s design is sleek and modern. Its standout feature is a wall of 16-foot glass panels that overlook the river. It will also come with 2,709-square-foot terrace that stretches 83 feet around the residence.

Marketing materials say the unit can be sold ready to move in, or custom built.

Other features include, a Jacuzzi on the terrace, 35-foot boat slip, private two-car garage, private elevator, spa and library.

Riva is being built at 1180 North Federal Highway. The 100-unit project is headed by Bradley Deckelbaum of Premier Developers, and is expected to finish by fall 2016.

Prices in the building range from $645,000 to $1.75 million, with penthouses asking $2 million and up.
