His new home is a 16,000-square-foot residence on the Intracoastal Waterway with a movie theater, a wine cellar, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 100 feet of frontage on the Intracoastal.

The seller, Gary Palmer, who has spent his career in the bank card business, had bought the residence in 2009 for $750,000 and completely rebuilt it in 2013.

The $6.5 million sale price was $500,000 lower than the asking price. The deed went to a trust based in the Detroit area. [Miami Herald] – Mike Seemuth
