Producer Carmen Soriano has sold her 15,000-square-foot estate in Key Biscayne, Miami-Dade County records show.
Soriano, who worked on “Pain & Gain,” and “The Others” sold the 4,835-square-foot home at 30 Island Drive to Roger Huguet and Marta Turon for $5.295 million. It was listed for $5.5 million on Redfin.
Huguet, is CEO of Imagina US, the Miami-based affiliate of the Spanish media giant Imagina group. The firm was recently involved in the FIFA corruption scandal, but was not charged with any wrongdoing, Reuters previously reported.
The waterfront Key Biscayne property, which has been renovated since it was developed in 1967, features a dock, 120-foot seawall, pool and patio. It last sold for $2.8 million in December 2010, according to Miami-Dade property records. The single-story home home includes four bedrooms and three bedrooms.
Financing for the deal was not recorded.
Last week, local film producer Gerard Barba sold his waterfront Key Biscayne home for $10.55 million.
