A custom retail fixture manufacturer and distributor signed a lease for more than 300,000 square feet in Hialeah, according to a press release.
Banah International Group was the building’s former tenant. The sugar company declared bankruptcy in 2013, and Terreno filed an eviction notice against Banah in February 2013, according to the press release.
San Francisco-based Terreno Realty executed the 11-year lease for the two-story building at 215 10th Avenue. The site includes 200 parking spaces and is near the Palmetto Expressway and I-95.
Jose Juncadella, principal at Fairchild Partners, represented the landlord in the deal. Fairchild is a South Florida-based commercial real estate firm.
