TV media mogul Herbert Siegel and philanthropist Jeanne Sorensen Siegel paid nearly $30 million for a mansion in Palm Beach, county records show.
A company tied to New York-based Solil Management sold the nearly 1-acre site at 200 Via Palma to the Siegels. The deal closed on Thursday, according to Palm Beach County records. A mortgage was not recorded.
It last sold for $22.45 million in April 2008.
The 12,770-square-foot house includes a pool, dock and cabana. The mansion features seven bedrooms and nine-and-a-half bathrooms.
Forbes billionaire Herbert Siegel has invested in Warner Communications and Viacom. He sold Chris-Craft Industries, United Paramount Network’s parent company, to News Corp. for $5.3 billion in cash and stock in 2011, Forbes reported. The most recent Forbes report values his net worth at $1.1 billion.
In June, the Siegels sold their Manhattan duplex co-op for $16.5 million.
Corcoran’s Colleen Hanson and John Campbell represented the Siegels in the sale, according to the brokerage’s website.
Solil Management’s Jane Goldman is listed as a registered agent on the seller’s corporate records.
