A unit at Ocean House in South Beach just traded hands for $9 million, The Real Deal has learned.
The 4,100-square-foot residence was originally purchased during Ocean House’s pre-construction sales and was remodeled, upgraded and put back on the market in December.
It has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, an oceanfront view and a private elevator.
Brenda Bichili of Cervera Real Estate represented the seller, a Brazilian. Miami-Dade property records and Florida corporate records show that Maria E. Brennand Campos paid $4.3 million for the unit in November 2011.
Bichili told TRD that her seller didn’t use the unit much and decided it was time to put it on the market. The buyer was from Connecticut.
“[Ocean House] is a building that’s very boutique in the center of South Beach,” Bichili said. “You’re in the middle of where everyone wants to be, but it’s very private.”
Located at 125 Ocean Drive in the South-of-Fifth neighborhood, Ocean House recently sold its last vacant unit — a massive two-story beachfront residence that sold for $12.1 million.
