A waterfront mansion in the posh Gables Estates community has hit the market again for $22.5 million, The Real Deal has learned.
Located at 181 Leucadendra Drive, the Mediterranean-style home has seven bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, four garages and 270 feet of land fronting a lagoon in the Estates.
The 14,946-square-foot home also has a separate guest home, brushed limestone and Colombian hardwood floors, a wine cellar and an infinity edge pool with a waterfall.
It was last sold for $15.8 million in 2012 by Jose Garcia and his wife Ileana to the current owners, David Beirne and his wife Lily, according to Miami-Dade County property records. The Beirnes got a $3.7 million discount after the home’s listing price dropped twice since it was put up for sale in 2010.
Another home on Leucadendra Drive sold earlier this month for $17.2 million. The mansion, complete with Jacuzzi and full-size tennis court, belonged to Richard Yelman — former CEO of mattress company Serta International.
