Former Serta International chairman and CEO E. Richard Yulman can sleep soundly now that his Gables Estates home sold for $17.2 million, The Real Deal has learned.
The two-story, 10,220-square-foot mansion sits on three acres at 555 Leucadendra Drive. The property was listed for two weeks before it sold to an undisclosed buyer. The sale closed today.
Howard Wolofsky and the Zeder Team of EWM Realtors represented the seller. Wolofsky told TRD that the sale is one of the most expensive non-bayfront closings in Coral Gables to date.
Features include a full-size tennis court, Jacuzzi, 750 feet of waterfront views and a private sand beach carved out of the seawall.
Three-acre properties in Gables Estates are rare, Wolofsky said, so it’s no surprise that the site sold so quickly.
“There’s nothing else like it,” he told TRD. “The buyer is someone with a great eye, that’s all I can say.”
Yulman bought the home in 1987 for $2.4 million, Miami-Dade County property records show.
