L’Atelier Residences, a 20-unit ultra-luxury condo development planned for Collins Avenue and 69th Street in Miami Beach, has officially launched sales.

The 18-story, all-glass tower is offering half-floor units beginning at $3.9 million and full-floor units at $9.959 million and up.

L’Atelier is being developed in partnership by SMG Management, the Disney family’s Shamrock Holdings and the W Capital Group. SMG and Shamrock’s projects include Palau Sunset Harbour and Peloro Miami Beach. W Capital, a South Florida-based development firm led by Yair Wolff, is currently developing Ocean Drive Townhomes.

Designed by architects Revuelta Architecture International, L’Atelier marks the first residential development by Holly Hunt, who is designing the interiors. Enzo Enea serves as the landscape architect.

The oceanfront project will be built on the grounds of the former Golden Sands Hotel, and the developers say they plan to preserve the building’s three-story historical façade.

L’Atelier is offering three-to-four bedroom homes, with 2,300-square-foot half-floor units, 4,600-square-foot full-floor units and two 8,000-square-foot multi-level penthouses. The residences all have high ceilings, two to six parking spaces, and each has an expansive terrace with a whirlpool spa, Carmenate said.

Other amenities will include private poolside cabanas, an oceanfront infinity edge pool, an upper-deck, 78-foot lap pool, an oceanfront whirlpool spa, a pool bar, a BBQ area, a fully landscaped hammock garden, a curated library and meeting room. Also included: a full-service concierge, 24-hour valet, spa, sauna and treatment room, on-site beauty salon, and state-of-the-art fitness center.

Hunt’s vision for the interiors, Carmenate said, is “Palm Beach meets Miami Beach.”

“It’s like a grand oceanfront estate. It has formal gardens,” he said. “The building is just very special.”
