Herve Leger has relocated its boutique on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, in a lease brokered by Cushman & Wakefield.
Robert Klecinsky, director of retail in Palm Beach for Cushman & Wakefield, negotiated the lease on behalf of clients BCBG Max Azria Group, doing business as Herve Leger, and the landlord Real Estate Capital Partners.
Herve Leger downsized from a 1,920 square-foot boutique at 206 Worth Avenue to a 944-square-foot store at 237 Worth Avenue, Klecinsky told The Real Deal. The asking rent on the new space was $170 per square foot, he said. A lease has not yet been finalized for the former space, Klecinsky said.
The move follows a trend of fashion brands moving to smaller spaces on Worth Avenue to reduce their rent costs, he said.
Herve Leger is a cutting-edge fashion brand from Europe, designed by Max Azria, known for its sexy “bandage” dresses. The landlord’s other luxury tenants include Giorgio Armani and Bottega Veneta.
