The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach is shutting its doors for five weeks for renovations.
Starting September 2 the hotel will begin a multimillion-dollar project, updating its rooms, restaurants and lobby, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
This will be the first time in 40 years that the landmark hotel, located at 155 Hammon Avenue, will close to guests.
The renovation will upgrade its 90 rooms with new color schemes and floral patterns and new bed linens. Rooms also will receive high-tech amenities such as smart TVs and Bluetooth-enabled telephones with built-in charges. [Sun-Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
