Ivana Trump closed the sale of her landmarked Palm Beach home about six months after putting the Addison Mizner-style beachfront property on the market.
Thomas R. Maier purchased the 102 Jungle Road mansion from Donald Trump’s ex-wife in a transaction recorded on Monday, according to Palm Beach County records. The sale price was previously reported to be $18 million, but the county’s recorded transaction value is $16.6 million. Trump paid $4.4 million for the 14,000-square-foot house in 1994.
Maier obtained a $10 million mortgage from Northern Trust Co. for the acquisition.
The nine-bedroom home was originally constructed during the 1920s. Numerous renovations and expansions were completed over the years.
