A development firm led by former Related Group executive Barbara Salk is getting ready to launch unit sales at its 36-story condo project in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.
Salk’s Sakor Development, which includes construction industry veteran Stephen Kornfield as a principal, plans to construct the 328-unit condo tower at 2701 Biscayne Boulevard. The Arquitectonica-designed building includes 20,000 square feet of retail space. Hirsch Bedner Associates is handling interior design work.
The tower is going to be dubbed Cascades at East Edgewater or Ion at East Edgewater, according to exMiami. The property is located down the street from Related’s Icon Bay development. [exMiami] — Eric Kalis
