MG3 Dixie LLC will build the Renaissance Charter School on a 10.2-acre plot at 2025 McKinley Street, bordered by the North Dixie Highway, North 20th Avenue and North Taft Street, the Daily Business Review reported. Neighborhood associations also approved the 240,000-square-foot project, which is located in an area primed for development, according to the developer.

MG3 is considering Branch Banking and Trust Company, along with two other banks, to finance up to 75 percent of the $35 million project. The facility is slated for completion by the 2015 school year. [Daily Business Review] — Angela Hunt
