Real estate mogul Jeffrey Soffer is being sued in Miami for $100 million over a helicopter accident in the Bahamas that killed an attorney last year.

The widow of attorney Lance Valdez filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Soffer in federal court on Monday, the Associated Press reported. The suit accuses Soffer of piloting the helicopter when it crashed at the Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club in Great Guana Cay in November 2012. Valdez, a friend of Soffer’s, was killed during the crash landing.
