Orlando-based multifamily real estate developer ZOM has broken ground on two South Florida projects this month, according to a company release.
“Positive dynamics, such as strong employment growth and an unserved demand for a luxury rental apartment product, are creating incredible opportunities to deliver well-conceived, thoughtfully designed rental apartments in South Florida,” ZOM’s chief development officer, Greg West, said in the release.
The design of North Bay Village, an eight-floor, 285-unit rental development on a 4.5-acre peninsula overlooking Biscayne Bay in the city of the same name, is inspired by 1930s Art Deco and 1950s Miami Modern, according to the release.
Bel Air at Doral, a 249-unit luxury rental complex next to the Doral Golf Resort & Spa, takes its inspiration from the Mediterranean-style established in Coral Gables and Boca Raton more than a century ago, the company said. — Emily Schmall
